Grianán Of Ailigh Fort, Donegal

The Hotel is overlooked by the majestic and ancient stone Ringfort of An Grianán of Aileach, see above, which rests on Greenan Hill. The close proximity to the hotel and the significance associated with this important archaeological structure has inspired the name, design and many events held by the Hotel.

The monument itself is located 250 metres above sea level, hinting at its once defensive role on the landscape. As a result you could, on a clear day, encounter breathtaking views of over seven counties.
